Entitled ‘An Rinceoir’, this permanent installation stands in the lawn overlooked by Teach Siamsa. Designed by Padraig Tarrant, the piece is made from stainless steel and was fabricated in County Kerry. The clean-cut design embodies the posture and poise of a dancer. The contemporary design of ‘An Rinceoir’ and the traditional Irish cottage complement each other by bringing the customs of old Ireland together with modern sculpture.
